"Do you want to cruelly and thoughtlessly wrench apart God's own United Kingdom which stood up against the Nazis in WW2 and be cast into utter darkness without heat, food or light forever and have to worship Alex Salmond like he was Kim Il-Sung? Do you? Do you? Eh? Because if you do you're just letting Hitler win. Plus your football team will still be rubbish, you'll make the Baby Jesus cry, and this little kitten will drown. And that's a fact."

    What race?
The storms of life They came
as we made our way towards home
and foes, they rose to strike us down

    These are not the Truth
    though they threaten
they are soon swallowed by Time
and matter not when the end is come

You play not only with great skill, but with conviction and loads of heart. Rootin' for you!
As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world - that is the myth of the atomic age - as in being able to remake ourselves.

    Get it, Matt!

Just played "The Soothsayer" by Wayne Shorter, followed by the "re-performance" of Bach's 'Goldberg Variations' by Glenn Gould (put out by Zenph).

Just finished up listening to a Crosby and Nash show - San Fransisco 14 December 1974 (beautiful mixing board recording)

Now listening to a CSNY show - New York Filmore East 4 June 1970 (also a beautiful soundboard recording - the second of two made on back to back dates)
Good with curry; not good with dogma

    26/10/77 (Wembley); 26/10/78 (Wembley); 14/12/80 and 16/12/80 (Hammersmith); 11/7/84 and 12/7/84 (Wembley); 8/12/87 (Montreal); 23/8/89 (ABWH - Ottawa); ... The Wilderness Years ...; 16/6/04 (Wembley); 17/11/09 (Hammersmith); 17/11/11 (Hammersmith); 26/3/13, 27/3/13 and 29/3/13 (Cruise to the Edge)

Genesis We Can't Dance original 1991 release, not the 2007 remix. I remember being so surprised when this came out.

I didn't think there would be another album after Invisible Touch (and I'd had such a disappointing time at Wembley Stadium in '87!)
