The storms of life They came
as we made our way towards home
and foes, they rose to strike us down
These are not the Truth
though they threaten
they are soon swallowed by Time
and matter not when the end is come

Wife may have a detached retina. She got an ocular migrane this time last year, and the headaches (not as bad) and light flashes are returning.
Got an out of town app't w/specialist tomorrow.
Oh- no exertion or bending over. I had to follow her on the morning dog walk and pick up poopies. Yuk.
LOL
Thank goodness daughter's home to help this summer.![]()

Yep...sometimes it's 3:50am and your wondering, "should I just stay up now?"...and often I do. I don't like to take anything because sometimes, as you noted, it works in reverse. Some studies suggest that a lot of sleep aids, etc. turn into stimulants if you don't go out early. Anyway, I have to admit that I don't have insomnia quite as bad as I used to, but still, way too much.
Ny-Quil always seemed to do the trick, but that is not something you want to get into, although, admittedly, I'll take some if the following day is a "must have sleep" thing.
I got one of those drone quadcopters with two (count 'em, 2) cameras. The thing can fly 150' up and take video or still images. It transmits its own wi-fi signal.
Been capturing some really cool vids. It's controlled with the iPhone and you can capture the feed to the phone or a USB stick plugged into the aircraft.
And to think... I used a slide rule in high school. Damn science and tech is amazing.

Cargo of diamonds as you are: nothing more valuable, nothing more tough.
She's an equal opportunity offender, a societal wildcard. You can't control her, only hope to contain her, even then she refuses to be possessed. If she were a coin, you would spend her, unwillingly. If she were an animal, you'd free her to the wilderness.
