Benadryl WIRES me out! Interesting how differently it affects people.

Wife may have a detached retina. She got an ocular migrane this time last year, and the headaches (not as bad) and light flashes are returning.
Got an out of town app't w/specialist tomorrow.
Oh- no exertion or bending over. I had to follow her on the morning dog walk and pick up poopies. Yuk.
    LOL
Thank goodness daughter's home to help this summer.

I know it's scary. My brother had that 50 years ago. The doctors fixed him up. And the technology today is so far advanced compared to what is was all those years ago.

All my best to Mrs. Yadda.

Yep...sometimes it's 3:50am and your wondering, "should I just stay up now?"...and often I do. I don't like to take anything because sometimes, as you noted, it works in reverse. Some studies suggest that a lot of sleep aids, etc. turn into stimulants if you don't go out early. Anyway, I have to admit that I don't have insomnia quite as bad as I used to, but still, way too much.

Ny-Quil always seemed to do the trick, but that is not something you want to get into, although, admittedly, I'll take some if the following day is a "must have sleep" thing.

Was just walking through Paris Las Vegas and blaring through the speakers was "Heat of the Moment"...Ok, so it's not Yes, but it's nice to see all these people losing their money while Howe's solo is cutting through the din...almost surreal.

I got one of those drone quadcopters with two (count 'em, 2) cameras. The thing can fly 150' up and take video or still images. It transmits its own wi-fi signal.

Been capturing some really cool vids. It's controlled with the iPhone and you can capture the feed to the phone or a USB stick plugged into the aircraft.

And to think... I used a slide rule in high school. Damn science and tech is amazing.

I can't believe my son is getting married in a week.
I miss him so much right now it's almost unbearable.
It's hard not seeing him everyday. I just can't get used to it.

I know you are proud of him.

I feel your pain. I've been coming home to an empty house for six months now, and it hasn't gotten any easier. It stays very clean though!

    Cin, I'm very sorry, sweetie...it must be terribly difficult for you. {{{{{{Cin}}}}}}

Just completed our annual "walking tour" of the historic downtown district.
Hours of research and prep paid off.
Not as big a crowd this time, but it was very informative and we all had fun.
    Even wife/daughter showed up!
