    Thanks, Sheila. it's getting better.

My gut has been fairly busted up again anyway .... for the 1st time in a long time. I went back into caregiver mode for the last couple months. It's too soon for me to do that - sorry to say. I still need to heal myself a bit more first.

Pissed that this is what Cabo San Lucas looked like the day before we got there.......click on it to watch.

Our resort wasn't much better.......the travel agent I booked this trip through - a birthday/wedding anniversary present for my wife - better be coming up with something good to make up for this.

Just as I thought......didn't get it. I am now reporting to someone that I''m expected to train. Fat chance.....I'll just do the work so the day goes by quicker.

Re: What are you feeling.....Part 16.

I am feeling that the Happy Birthday threads on Yesfans should be closed to any further posts once a person's birthday is over. I have noticed some people sneaking in Happy Birthday wishes after a person's birthday is over, and this is very disturbing to me.

As to at what time a Happy Birthday thread should be closed, my feeling is it should be locked when the clock hits midnight at the end of the day in the time zone the person were born. Therefore, if a person was born in London, and now lives in Los Angeles, it should be locked once that day is over London time. It may require a little extra work by the Yesfans office staff to obtain birthplace information from every member, but in the long run it should be worth it.

In the meantime, the Happy Birthday forum should be closed immediately. Anybody with a birthday during that shutdown who feels jipped out of Happy Birthday wishes should sit and think how a person with a birthday on Leap Day feels three out of every four years. Then they should shut up!

This is a passion of mine. And it is how I am feeling at this time. Well, actually most of the time.

Maybe each person should just have one birthday thread, then resurrect it each year.

Hey- sometimes I like to wish someone happy day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after the day after ...

    THEIR BIRTHDAY!
Hold on to the miracle of life...

Oh... I'm feeling very heavy-hearted. 72 hours to go until our baby is off to boarding school. It's the end of one era but the beginning of another. I'm sad and happy at the same time. Huge change for everyone.

    THEIR BIRTHDAY!
Well, by that time it could be considered an early Happy Birthday greeting for the person's next birthday. Exemptions for that would exist under my plan.

Can I count on you to sign the petition?

Between you, me and the lamppost, the trick is to tell Yesfans you were born in the Hawaiian time zone, and then rake in all those late Happy Birthday greetings! Don't tell anyone.

If the birthing process took that long, then, yes, that person should be entitled to a Happy Birthday week.

I'm remembering when we used to start birthday threads for JaneE a month early and they'd run for months! I loved it.

    LOL!

We have a lot of members who don't get here that often and I guess they look through the threads and see someone who had a birthday and they revive the thread.

The mods used to block certain forums so you couldn't see the threads.
I don't know if they still do, but maybe you can check into that.

Just to be a contrarian..... I wish I had the $$ to send my oldest to boarding school. He's eager to go because he feels it will help him get into an Ivy League uni. Weirdo.
