That makes it harder to attract or keep the best talent.... a lot of good people work very hard for the gov't and deserve much better than that.

yeah-one of the Best musicians on here didnt get a thread this year.. [gulp-i shoulda came and started one, but i said ---- it and mailed cookies instead] you'd think that [since we're all gettin older] people would find birthdays Sacred.. [maybe it's just me.. hehe]

got this neighbor..GAWD!! i am NOT a hater, but i really dislike this dude IMMENSELY!! he is kinda stalking up & down our street talking to himself [and NOT in a happy syd barrett kinda way, either!] i do NOT scare easily but this dude creeps me out! [he has a vendetta against us, too-long story..] so-=in order to try to NOT be mean [outwardly] i decided to ask for the piccolo part to stars & stripes forever. that tune is THE Holy Grail for a pic player and i SUCK big time on this song. BUT-whenever he decides to stalk up & down the street, i open every window and practice it as badly as i possibly can.. LOL!! he goes RIGHT IN to his house after about one minute of butchering!! so-i learned to keep him away AND i practice a really hard tune-BONUS!! [tho i do feel very badly for the bats & animals nearby.. oh well..]..
