Well, not only have I completely changed my career to something infinitely more appealing--working with animals--I also seem to have landed a job. I'm technically on conditional employment until the rest of the background check comes in, and as I have no DUIs or felony records, I think I can safely say that I'm in.

I'll be working for a mobile pet clinic (PawsPlus/VETCO) which does immunizations and the like. This will be 12 hours a day on Saturdays and Sundays (yay! overtime!)...and I will also pick up some weeknight hours, too.

I'll still be volunteering at FixNation.

This makes me very happy.

I'm so disappointed! I am currently unable to upload my pictures from Detroit with Kathi & YES. grrrr...I'll be back. I got some great pictures! I probably need to make them smaller or something along those lines.

Kathi's stomping ground (two blocks off of Lake Superior) is astounding. I was in Michigan for nine days, and we did so many things. Kathi is such a wonderful person. I can't thank her enough for showing me so many things, like Whitefish Point, the osprey nests, Monocle & Spectacle Lake, the beach, the State Park that backs up to her yard, we picked wild blueberries, and ate them off the bush, took home a black lab dog that was dancing in the street with the cars, the meteor showers, watching her play her flute on stage!

But, I'm tired now...stupid picture uploading has worn me out and I can't wait to share them with you guys.
