That's always a problem at casino shows, because they do have a time limit. The more time you spend listening to a band, the less time you spend sitting in front of a one-armed bandit. :)
I tend to avoid Atlantic City shows for that very reason.

The show was great steve was amazing i loved it all. The only complaints are the tempo of most of the songs was slowed down alot since the last time i saw them in 2004. Another complaint is they did not play close to the edge or soon i saw they played them on all the other shows but not tonight. I read somewhere the casino has a time restriction but i dunno if that is true. Other then that it was a great show the highlights for me were yours is no disgrace and machine messaih. Chris and steve were incredible espcially steve his solos were amazing espicially on yours is no disgrace and his acoustic piece was incredible.

Most bands and artists only play for an hour and a half nowadays. Blackfield has three albums, and their concerts are running for an hour and a half. Same with Muse. Same with Porcupine Tree (who has more than 3 albums, plenty of space to fill a concert.)
I've heard a lot of people complaining about it, but to be honest, if you feel fulfilled after the concert, why complain? CTTE has been played to death, perhaps they want to play the Drama songs they never got to play (except on the Drama and most recent tours?)
I'd like to see some rarities thrown in there. Final Eyes, I Am Running, Magnification, Parallels, etc. Not Starship Trooper, for the trillionth time.
But I suppose that won't sell, so they don't do it. Yes are a novelty band, at least live. The fans buy the albums, the masses go to the live shows to see the hits. And Yes haven't had any real hits past 1987.
Yes: 16 August 2001: Dayton, OH - Fraze Pavilion
Yes: 4 July 2010: Cincinnati, OH - A Taste Of Blue Ash
Jon Anderson: 3 March 2012: Hamilton, OH, Miami University
That show he is complaining about was my 63rd, and I realized if I am not mistaken that that was the first time they played no song over about 12 minutes. I missed the epic song the other night, whether or it CTTE or another. The dramatic arc to that show was missing, and I felt it as soon as I knew they were cutting it in the setlist. I had actually be tipped off before the show, which didn't help my mood, either. They had played the same venue the year before and still played CTTE...you can complain all night about what you wanted to hear or not hear, but not playing an epic Yes song to their loyal fanbase in Philly, NY, and NJ...I hope it won't happen again. It was the same setlist they played on the free show earlier in the tour. I think we deserved a little more.
