Hello everyone in Yesfans, my name is Oscar but here i am Cayuloso. I'm 23 years old and my english it's far from perfect, so i'm apologize. Yesterday I was at the first Yes concert in my life and was a "magnification" experiencie. My tickets didn't exist in the teather because a mistake in ticketmaster...so, me and my girlfriend had the chance to go very near the band, in fact, the last song i was at 2m. of distance (my tickets were in the second floor). Steve was on fire, Benoit sing perfectly, I was surprised with the emotion and passion of Alan and Chris and Oliver were experts in their instruments. They sound so good live, not youtube, really live The only drama was a delay in the airport of Argentina, so the show started very late and they didn't play Machine Messiah and Perpetual Change. But, one great night, I hope they come back soon!!

Oscar, congratulations on your show and getting up close. I am very happy you had a great and magnificent experience. I hope to see and read posts from you and your fellow countryman and women here on Yesfans in the future. Music is the one thing we all can understand. :-)
Hola Oscar! Bienvenido a Yesfans!
Well, your english is pretty good, at least form another latinamerican point of view!... haha!
I'm not surprised to hear that an argentine plane was delayed for whatever reason! it always happens!... but it's hard for me to believe that Yes went to make a concert without a sound test before the show!... How late did the show started?... an hour?... two hours?... The concert in Luna Park started half an hour late but it's quite normal for a rock show... it happened the same with the Roger Waters show in 2007 and it was all ok!... anyway!
Wellcome to the site Oscar, post often!
Rei.

Great review!
The "spanish" piece that Howe played before Clap was The Little Galliard, a tune from english renaissance composer John Dowland.
I found these videos from Santiago at youtube:

I was there, too!
Honestly their best works were released much before I was born (I'm 17...), and this was my first opportunity to see them live... And maybe the last, who knows.
Anyway, the show was great, as said before, it started almost 50 mins. later than expected, therefore they played a couple songs less. But the songs they played... Amazing!
Steve was really into his role, as always, Chris was also inspired, Alan did a great job... Overall, a great great show.
I know, I'm missing the two "fillers", but on purpose because I want to say some words regarding their performance. Who wouldn't like to have Jon back? Who wouldn't like to have Rick back? They are part of Yes's soul, especially in the case of Jon. Yes wouldn't be what it is today without him. And people miss that. Benoit Davis was there to replace his vocal, not his presence. And he did well. Same goes with Victor, Ricks son, who played what he had to play, not asking for more attention than he deserved.
So, once again, it was a great show, a night I'll always remeber. The public was part of the show, how could I forget when everyone started to silence the ones who where making noise during Steve's performance of The Clap. Wow!
