Yes its pretty damn accurate in most details, although I am from the city rather than a small town so there are a few differences, (We didn't "bust" freshman for one thing).

Oliver Stone's Savages. Not sure how I felt about it. It's definitely different from most of the stuff out there now. It has a bit of a Tarantino vibe to it. Some of the actors involved : John Travolta, Benecio Del Toro, Salma Hayek, Blake Lively and these two guys.
