    Lunch at Peter Luger

What a great afternoon! And it was Madelyn's birthday too!
The food certainly lived up to the name but my arteries are suing me for divorce.

I can't believe how much Madeline, sorry if I spelled it wrong, has grown since I saw her last year!

Eight years old with eyes that have to be seen to be believed. What a sweet young lady. We had such a nice time dining together. I've already called Scottie to put the bug in his ear about doing this again real soon.

She doesn't have a little girl's face any more.......she is indeed a smart, articulate and beautiful young lady. Happy Birthday to Madeline!

Thanks for posting those pictures. It prompted me to make a call as well and tell Scottie how much I miss them all.

It was, but I've made my cholesterol quota for two months at least. The steak really is like butter -both in texture and fat content. Desserts were every bit as sinful and Luger's has schlag down to a science. But, hey, the only meal worth splurging on is one that makes you feel good and guilty for having eaten it. Well, mission accomplished!

Madeline and I share the same birthday. I should have been there.

It was the sabbath, closed until 7:00 PM on Sat. We stuck out, so your offer would be a definite.

I didn't even recognize the "Prot" yard!
