when i first got union , on vinyl , i was listed as a bonus track

it is very steve howe inspired and he seems to have freedom on guitar - unlike the others where Elias got his mits on them and put far too many muscians on the record and any one off the street got to play

Give and Take is one of my favourites on the record

union is a patchy album and it appears that Give and Take has been pasted on as an after thought

I love it when 2 riffs appear first separately in a song and are finally united at the end of the song to set off one another. Such a thing happens at the end of Give and Take and I just love it !

I thought it was ok, but understood why it was a b-side. Unremarkable, except for the harmonics that mimic the opening section of GoD. I also thought it was Steve playing, but he apparently does very little on Union. Who knows - Masquerade could be Steve Lukather for all we know.

having said that he does sound a bit like Howe on Circa
