When the tickets went on sale for the CLOSE TO THE EDGE & BACK tour, I was skunked too.

My wife & I drove town to Miami, waited on line for hours, got to the window FIRST, BEFORE any seats were available for sale, and drew about mid way back in section 201.

About a WEEK later, BETTER seats were made available through Ticket Master!

That reeks! I hate it when that happens. Even now, I generally avoid presales because they don't always have the best tickets!

Anyway, we're flying in from Austin/Houston to see the show. If we find some better tickets for a good price, we'll get them - we're staying at the Casino so who knows, perhaps we can get something out of them.

I have convinced myself it's not worth fretting over at all - I'm just happy I get to see them play, and a friend of mine tells me that there isn't really a bad seat in this amphitheater.

just for those who don't live down here.
if you are traveling from out of town,
its a long expensive cab ride from miami to this hard rock.

The Hard Rock is a small venue so mostly all of the lower level seats are good. To put it into perspective, the furthest you might be is a little more than 1/2 court at a pro basketball game with an end stage.

We've been waiting a long time for this show. Looking forward to Wednesday. 3 days away.

Well, I guess this is it. I can't wait to see how my kids take to the music. A great night is planned, Christmas come early. Dinner, the show, and who knows! It's been 35 years as a fan, I hope THIS time, I get to meet the guys. Fingers Crossed!
