    Cool

I have 3 Roger Dean Yes posters. Two were bought around '73 or '74 (the outer space, asteroid picture from Yessongs and the 'green world' gatefold picture from Close to The Edge, the third at my GFTO tour show in '77 (it is a huge Yes logo in red letters with a gradiant green to black background). I can never put these posters up again, my wife is not as rabid as I. I would like these cool posters to go to a good home to someone who will display them. They need to be seen! I don't want to gouge anyone, but these posters are rare. If anyone's interested... I also have many other rock posters, mostly from early 70's bands.

I would like to have them. How much money do you want for each of them?

I would also be happy if I had only one of them. I mean I need one now. I still have a Queen picture in my room and I think I would need to have a Roger Dean poster now. :)

I pulled the posers out of the tubes to examine them. I've decided to keep them. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Not to state the obvious but there are Roger Dean posters for sale through his website, rogerdean.com, as well as more expensive options and bios; and even a forum to put in your 2 cents on selected works. Check it out if you haven't already!

As for the Relayer platesigned litho, I also have it.
    I bought it at Albumstore.com,

I also had it signed by Steve Howe this past fall.

Problem, I read on Roger Deans site, that he never authorized these.
And I got a certificate as well.
But according to Deans site, he didn't sign the plate for these.

    oh well.

I have purchased his Yellow City, Litho, from his site,
and I'd like to work on getting his posters there.
The Litho was $40 some. But the posters are cheaper.

A friend of mine has a YesSongs poster. It's an outerspace background with pieces from all the images from YesSongs that float (not the one landing in the water or the one with the girl sitting on it.) I think it also includes the flying fish/plane from Fragile. It's HUGE. It's about 4' by8' I'm sure it was not sanctioned by Roger Dean as it's layout is not very well balanced. It's probably a bootleg or maybe it was an in-store promo.

It wouldn't be desigined by Roger Dean, but inspired by him. My dream is a geodesic dome and I have money down on one of these kits. I already own the George Jetson furniture and I have several framed Dean posters for the walls. If I can just find some land where I want to live (Sigh)

I designed my own science-fictiony house in high school in the 60s- a sphere sunk mostly into the ground. Roger Dean could decorate it anytime!

    Re: Roger Dean posters

I'd love to have a Dean poster... Actually, I'd love to work with him on a respectable game idea. His captivation with beautiful fantasy landscapes would lend itself well to a particular project I've had in mind for a bit. Although, with a talented artist such as Roger Dean, I'm more than inclined to create from the ground up as well.

    Re: Roger Dean posters

Quite a coincidence seeing this thread ... just this morning I took my Roger Dean poster of Badgers out of it's tube for the first time in a few years to be measured up for it's new frame and pride of place in my study. (800mm x 600mm).

I did have a Tales poster the same size but gave it to my Brother in law for safe keeping many years ago. He can't find it now!!

    Re: Roger Dean posters

Over the last few months I have picked up the odd bargain on Ebay. I currently have original 70's Big O versions of these posters all still in their cellophne tubes.

    And also

I am currently doing work on the house and fully expect to have them hung early next year.
