Cargo of diamonds as you are: nothing more valuable, nothing more tough.
She's an equal opportunity offender, a societal wildcard. You can't control her, only hope to contain her, even then she refuses to be possessed. If she were a coin, you would spend her, unwillingly. If she were an animal, you'd free her to the wilderness.
The first show after Sturgis is Denver....
Wonder IF they'll open with JW's "Rocky Mountain High"......???
"Couldn't Get Much Higher"....or was that Symbol's sig lyrics???
Wish I could go, THE show of the summer.....Have fun alll

Thank you Yesfans for all your High Vibrations and support. I'm feeling a lot better now. I'm very thankful for this life as it continues and I'm eternally grateful to all who lifted my soul and physical well-being in meditations, thoughts and prayers during my rough time last September ∞∞∞

Well dig up JD and put him out there as an "opener"...lol
I'd pay to see that!
Guess I WAS "high" when I posted.....I even looked up the JW lyrics of RMW and STILL posted the HIGH instead of WAY, maybe it's a "contact" HIGH from this being a "Symbol-based" Thread......lol![]()

A friend of mine has come up with free tickets and invited me, so I'll be there.

Peter Grant: "Hello, I'm Peter Grant, I manage Led Zeppelin."
Bob Dylan: "Hey man, I don't bother you with my problems!"

and the leaves turn from red to brown...til they're trodden down....
First off... we had excellent seats. A friend of Larry's named Tyson got us comp tickets from a local radio personality. Thanks Tyson!
The James Gang was great! They had a blues duo that played as an opener. (guitar and harmonica) Larry knew both of those guys.
The show opened with Walk Away and never slowed down after that. I don't know the names of the songs but was surprised by how many I recognized. I know that they played Midnight Man, Stop, Ashes The Rain and I, and Funk 49 (last song before the encore). I think they did Asshton Park and The Bomber too... Larry... do you know?
They did two encores. The first one they brought out one of the female back-up singers and featured her on guitar and the second one.... Why... Rocky Mountain Way of course.
The show was a short one at an hour and 15-20 minutes. Joe was humorous and played like only Joe Walsh does. Jim Fox can play the drums!
Larry, it was great to see you again. I look forward to our next concert! Adrian Belew is Wednesday November 1st.
