Ive seen somethings strange in the sky.

I had a very good friend of mine who told me that ufos were following him and that they would disguise themselves as planes.

I didnt really believe it at first but then we went down to the beach one night and he summoned them and then I saw them for myself.

Well, I take the road that, there's got to be more life out there somewhere amongst the countless billions of other sytems. I think it would be rather conceited of us to believe that we're the only ones huh. Now, whether or not theya ctually vistis, who knows. I wouldn't give it much credibility, but I guess it's possible....... I'd be interested maybe a bit apprehensive, but I don't think I'd be scared. What's the point? If in fact they did visit us, it would surely mean they could dust us without a thought. The technology required to travel such vast distances would surely mean we'd be very primative in comparison. Maybe they could save us from ourselves.....

Well actually I do not believe that ufo's have to be visitors from some distant planet at all.

We only assume that we know all of the life-forms that already exist here.

If you start to study the ancient history of this planet through the study of the ancient religions and the ancient works up into all of the different periods leading to today it would seem that there has been a constant presence of this sort.

It is interesting.

Even in the Holy Bible there is strong evidence of high technology, alien type presence and ufo activity on Earth.

What the heck was the Ark?

Well I don't buy the ark thingamajig exactly as told in Noah. But yes, I've read and seen some materials on ancient religions and it seems that many 1,000's of years ago, when there was apparently little connection between the continents, there were some very strange similarities in architecture ect. Although, one argument against this, which has been shown to be valid possibility is or Simultaneous invention of design and engineering in completely autonomous and distant regions. But I certainly wouldn't discount such an idea as yours. Another thing that interests me in the studies of ancient cultures is lost technology. That is advances in used technology, engineering, medical, ect. that for some reason or another get lost or forgotten over time.

Who knows, who's to say, I don't think any of us can be quite sure aobut any of this. But you know, inquiring minds have lead the human race to be the dominant force on this Earth (that we know of ) and we shall not ever cease to evolve and learn until we stop trying.......

It gives technical physical descriptions for the building of a device.

But it is in some quarters of society very rare as to when ancient works are looked at from a technical viewpoint though that is changing at a slow rate of course.

But the evidence is there. All throughout history as well, not just in the Holy Bible.

I thought the piece was interesting. I am comfortable witht the idea that there are unknows left in this world and also certainly off of this world.

UFO are quite simply by definiton unidentified. I wonder how many stalth bombers were mistaken for UFO's. The intersting thing is that people can be so deadly serious about this issue. I was once a dorm director at Arkansas State University with the typical older dorm mothers. Anyway, people who know me know my interest in space. On night this dorm mother and her husband told me about their UFO encounter. It was odd. They genuinely were disturbed and their was fear in their story. They held up to some solid questining by me and I knew that they belived what they were telling me.

Who knows, unknown Terran lifeform, spaceships from beyond, or mistaken things with a rational explanation. Difficult to ascertain but great conversation.

Raiders of The Lost Ark aside. The Biblical Ark of The Covenat is incredible Bibilical history and makes for interesting discussion.

Well I'm glad that is finally sorted out. I've always been suspicious of dolphins. All that greyness, skin that feels like hard boiled eggs and high pitched voice and stuff. It isn't normal. Now all we need to do is find out what their porpoise is here.

Exactly, well spotted.

Also, they have antigravity muscles which they leave relaxed most of the time. This gives them the appearance of being effected by gravity the way every other being on the planet is.

However, occassionally they tense them up and they float around causing mayhem, like this little berserker here.

I will have to state up front that I did not read the item linked in the first post, primarialy because I believe that most people who see Unidentified Flying Objects are desperately seeking some higher power to bring order to this Earth. The real mysteries are far more unsettling than visitors from other planets, other times, other dimensions, etcetera.

There is remarkable evidence that SOMEONE was around before Antarctica was covered with a layer of ice several kilometers deep, because an extremely accurate map was in existance nearly 1,000 years ago, the source of which has been lost in the mists of time. Or consider the pyramids of Giza, in Egypt, which were constructed by a technology which we are incapable of duplicating. And these monuments are the first evidence of this culture, which declined steadily afterward. A very advanced culture appeared out of nowhere, created giant monuments of stone blocks nearly ten meters on a side, which were cut with such accuracy that a piece of paper can not be passed between two blocks. These blocks were quarried many kilometers from the plain of Giza, which, incidentally, was leveled to a tolerance of a couple of centimeters over a distance of about 2 1/2 kilometers, then these immense blocks were transporterd to the plain, to be lifted anywhere up to a couple of hundred meters above the plain. Yet, the oldest pyramids are the most advanced, as a slow, steady decay seemed to obscure the secrets of the generations before.

Or, consider the Mayan calendar, which is one of the most accurate calendars ever discovered, spanning nearly 5,000 years. Not only is this calendar accurate for terrestrial use, but it is also extremely accurate in predicting both solar and lunar eclipses.

In short, there is a considerable body of evidence indicating that a culture more technologically advanced than Western European culture is today existed on this planet several thousand years ago, and then disappeared without a trace, leaving behind a cultural remnant which deteriorated into stone age peoples. Who were they? Will they be back? Why did they leave? Are they the ones driving the UFO's?
