My drum machine is mute! So I have ascertained after about one half hour on the phone with Roland...a silent TR-808! Well, darn. I've been doing some massive spring cleaning and such to cure my packrattiness, pardon my dust. I've been trying to finish my two bikes in time for my 47th birthday (the one I almost didn't have a chance at) on June 26 and trading, selling, giving away...sending box after box into the US Mail. And ...
For those who wish to read, I did a daily diary of my experience on the boat. I caution that this was written mostly in the dead of night under the influence of motion sickness inhibiting medication and loads of alcohol. Feel free to enjoy and comment as one does! My nonagenarian maternal grandmother passed away last night. She was/is/always will be my best buddy. As long as I live I will remember the summers spent at the homestead, sleeping over, mowing the lawn for $5, messing around in the old workshed/garage and riding my bike around rural Caldwell, Idaho behind Lake Lowell. The last time I saw her was at Christmas, gathered at my aunt's home. She had a walker after falling a few times but I was not prepared to see the big black eye she got ...

As my You Tube channel was recently renamed. A good timespace experience to you. While I profess to play but a few instruments, and some I haven't touched in years (brasses to be specific) I do own quite a few Toys of note and many of they are MIDI-capable. Recently I acquired a 6-device MIDI merge box with two CV ports (one to handle my TR-808) so I can combine all of my keyboards and modules save for one Yamaha Portasound. I still don't know ...
Maybe I'm now getting my wish...it's getting warmer here in eastern Nowhere and I can almost ride a bike on my block again instead of walking to the corner. I've spent the time collecting up patches for the Casio and lamps for all my gear, to stay and to went. How do I pay for my rock and roll lifestyle, another band asks? Maybe it's an enigma but I do a lot of trading and barter and then spend. I was given a keen Schwinn Phantom tank this week! That makes setting up the ...

I saw Jon twice in 2011 solo and once with Rick. Solo Jon was amazing, but with Rick he was unprepared and both artists had musical stands blocking their faces. I had first row seats and I couldn't see their faces. I thought the show was unrehearsedand not fair to paying customers.

Does anyone no how to get presale code for DTE Energy Show in MIchigan
I finally got to listen to a show with Jon Davison on a very good audio recording of the April 11 Melbourne show which I grabbed from Dime, which I uploaded to my file service so it can be downloaded at http://j.mp/HEdQ5f (816Mb). As usual this is a ZIP archive of FLAC files. I also made a couple of sample mp3 tracks, of "Fly from Here part 1 We Can Fly" extracted out of the whole suite, and of "Heart of the Sunrise," if you haven't heard what Yes now sounds like with Jon Davison, ...
Tickets are on sale now. There are still a few premium seats available and plenty of standard seats.
With the recent changes once again using a cover band lead singer to replace the 'other' cover band lead singer, one has to think the band 'Yes' has become it's own cover band. It is sad. Does anyone remember the band Journey? Themagic is gone. After listening to the latest work, I knew the magic would no longer be there, the creativity is not the same. There is a lot to be said when a 'true' musician touches a piece of work then makes changes to enhance the song. Why regress when ...
