Just wanted to say Thankyou. I also saw that Trevors son has a band? And has he produce any recordings?

Some of their songs really rock. I bet all the girls at school are crazy about them. But I've been wondering for a while now, how did Ryan end up playing drums?

Well, let me tell you the story of Ryan playing drums. It started at a very early age. Being on the road and watching Alan play night after night, was his inspiration. But, the boy was forced (just playing with that word!!) to start piano lessons, like his Dad did all those years ago. The piano didn't work out very well for Ryan and he concentrated on the drums. His influences you ask? Of course, Alan. And Lou Molino, who is Trevor's drummer. So, that my folks, is the story of Ryan playing drums. LOL!!

Did you steal his diary or something?? How the heck did you find this out?
I was going to make a joke about Alan and Lou when I posted before, but I chickened out. Loser.

As many articles that I have on Trevor (from online too!!), you find these things out. Here is a Ryan interview from a couple years ago.

Trevor made a comment during his Rockline interview for the Can't Look Away release something to the effect that his son was ready to take over playing drums for Alan. It's funny to think about that now, because at the time, Ryan would have only been three years old!

I believe the quote went along the lines of "in 10 years, Alan will be loosing his job." LOL!! I LOVE that Rockline interview. How about the girls calling in, Mrs Strat? That is so funny. "Both of you." My Trevor is funny!! ;)

Judy, you are right about the quote. Funny at that young age, he knew his son would be a drummer...
The callers were a riot...especially the girl who called in and said she saw him driving around in his car. He asked if he was driving fast, and she replied something like he was driving well within the law. Trevor's response was, "Oh, it must have been someone else."

The caller says she is "inspired" (to be driving behind him), that is when Trevor said it must be someone else. LOL!! What I've always wanted to know, what type of cars does he drive?
You know, if anyone is jealous on this Rockline show, I do have a Weed open on the Sale/Trade part of the website!! ;)

Well, it has been a while since I've listened, so I'll have to dig it out sometime.
Someone told me once that he drives a Jaguar (black)

Mrs. Strat, I'm sorry if I sounded "know it all." Sometimes I come across that way. I just so love the Rockline and pretty much have it memorized. He is way too funny in it.
Black Jaguar huh!! Well, he was driving one around South Africa in the Rabbitt days. I guess he doesn't need a mini van. LOL!!

Ah yes, our love for Trevor!! LOL!! You have to hear Rockline. Trevor is hilarious. You don't see him as a person who is funny, but HE IS!! Even in his serious Star Licks video, he popped a funny in there. He has a sense of humor. ;)

I tried like crazy to get through to him that night he was on Rockline, but failed. My friend Christine made it on though. She was the caller from New Jersey. I forget what she asked him, I'll have to go back and listen again. You had to love her New Jersey accent. :kissme:
