Thanks to JUDYSTREVOR I just listed to a better show from the TALK tour. This makes two shows I have and in each the vocals are just not right. I really have an issue with BILLY singing. He just kills the tunes, it hurts my ears, ha ha ha.
I really do miss Trevors playing. I wish he would come back in some form and play live again.

Much as I love Steve's playing, I too would love to see TR return. Even if it was just for one album and tour. I really hope that there are plenty of tracks on the new live box set that feature TR.

The thing is, the songs sung on the Talk tour were a great vocal showcase. Some of it translated very well live. I agree with Ellis, I am hoping for some great YesWest tracks on the box set

Coming from a Trooper,Talk is their best album as YesWest,much better than the Top 40 sound of 90125.But,personally I don't want to see rabin back,but the live box set,yeah they can through in a few.Rabin is just imho a R&R guitarist and doesn't have the versiostyle of Steve.

Your very welcome Tim!! The thing with the Maryland Heights show (show I sent Tim) is that someone has messed with it. To me, it isn't right off the soundboard. Someone has done some tweaking. Not right MAN!! That, I believe, is why the vocals don't sound right. Heck, the music too. I would rather listen to other shows on headphones, then Maryland Heights. It just doesn't sound right.

Tim, you really need to add those last two sentences to your signature!! LOL!! I'm right there with ya honey!! ;)

i still think Billy ruins the sound. To me ear there are some lousy harmonies on BOTH of shows that I have from the tour. Still good but hard to get used too.

As for Rabin, I just miss his style. Yes it is good old RnR sounds but it fits well. I love all the EXTRA'S he adds to tunes.
