i got my tattoo when i was 43!! haha!
[mid life crises? maybe, but i finally had the $ and had been considering getting one for years, so when my nephew challenged me to get one with him, i just did it!
see my avatar-it needs to be touched up a bit-didnt want the 'zep' misty mountains! i wanted the mountains on my tattoo to just 'come out of the sky and stand there'. ;)
not sure if i'll have time to spruce it up a little before england, tho.

I have nothing tattoed on my body. However, I do have the Roger Dean YES logo on the back window of my car. As I hope to have that car for at least 8 years, I would call that fairly permanent.

Sheila - if you ever do want to get the logo off your car window I would caution against the laser treatment. It could damage the glass. :sofunny:

No tatoos for me, too, although i really like dionnekes. And I don´t think theres a risk that I might like yes anyomre someday. But I really never would like to have a tatoo with the name nof my boyfriend.

I don't have any tattoos but for years have thought about getting one- a Pheonix on the back of my left shoulder. My biggest fear is that it would get screwed up & i'ld have this ugly thing on me that i would be stuck with!

Only have natures tattoos - MOLES! Once had a friend connect the dots and to our suprise it was Roger Deans "Yestardays" album cover. :)

How to add a picture

Click on the reply button

Click on manage attachments

Click on the browse button

Find the file on your computer that you would like to post

Valid file extensions: bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd txt zip

I'm not sure why but jpeg seems to work best for me

The file must be small enough (anybody know what the size limit is now?)

Click on the Add This File button

Wait (my 'puter is so slow)

It will tell you the size of the file you have attached

Example
Current Attachments (22,783 bytes
devilkitty.jpg (22,783 bytes)

If it doesn't say this the file did not attach!

Now you can add another picture

Or

Click on All Done

Add Text
(You can't post a picture without some text)

Click the Submit Reply button

If you have done all this and it still doesn’t work

Try resizing your picture and doing it again

Or try a different extension

If that doesn't work go have a beer ( beer is always good) then

PM sschiffman (techie goddess) and have her help you!

I got the wolf pawprint in there to symbolize the things that are important to me, peace, (Yes) music, and animals (big animal lover) I suppose if anyone else wanted to use it, they'd want to take the pawprint out, but it's my design, and that's what I'm doing with it.

I love Kathi's (see upbgirl above) mark and have been giving it some thought as to whether to have one for June? I might wait until I'm 43 now (it won't be long!!).

I do have a dagger tattoo about my person, but it was done when I was 20 by a guy called 'Gentle John' - He wasn't gentle and he wasn't called John - might explain why the tatoo is crap then! But hey, it cost 50p (about 25 cents)!!
