I think most every TR fan knows Trevor did the score to the movie "Armagedden", but there is one small detail that I have never been able to find out about from that, specifically Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss A Thing", their huge hit from the movie. In the chorus of this song, after the first part of the chorus, Steven Tyler sings, "...Even when I dream of you, the sweetest dream will never do...", and right after he sings the words "...dream of you", there is a background vocal that I swear is Trevor Rabin echoing "Even when I Dreeeaaam...". I have never been able to find out, but the fact Trevor does the score and the voice sounds like his makes me think about it evertime I hear the song. Is there any info in the Armageddon CD booklet that says anything about this? It doesn't sound like anybody elses backing vocals in Aerosmith, from what I can tell. Go and listen to it...what do you think?

Welcome to the website!! Great to see another Trevor fan!! ;)

There is nothing in the CD booklet about who plays on what song. I just put the CD in my stereo and with my headphones on, listened to the part you mentioned (loudly, BTW). The background vocal is pretty faint. It is hard to tell. I would say no. But, you never know!! In fact, the song was recorded at The Hit Factory in NYC. So, I doubt that is Trev.

Thanks for the warm welcome, Judy. Yep I'm a big TR fan; ever since I picked up Big Generator low those many years ago. Then one day I heard "Something to Hold On To" on the radio and froze, thinking "I KNOW THAT VOICE!". So I have been picking up everything TR and Yes since. I picked up "The Ladder" after TR left; it was good, but TR's presence was missing through those headphones. My biggest regret was missing him on the TALK tour; they were playing really close to me, and I really wanted to see them, but I couldn't go. If only I would have known that YesWest would be no more after that...sigh.

I just picked up "Big Generator: Live and Rare Tracks" on eBay, and if you don't have it yet, definitely pick it up! TR is in top form on the live disc, live versions of the BG tunes and goes CRAZY on "Yours is No Disgrace", just kills the place with his solo. The rare tracks feature BG songs in progress, and TR actually sings most of "Rhthym of Love" and "Final Eyes" in these rough versions...you will love them, if you don't already have it.

Glad you are here!! ;) We are one great big happy family. I also missed the Talk tour. Now, I wish I hadn't. I've been lucky to have some wonderful fans on here to do some trading with me. I've gotten a few Talk videos that I'm very thrilled about. Glad to have them in my collection.

Now, we are going to have to talk about the eBay thing with bootlegs!! LOL!! Actually, you will find most bootlegs available right here on the website. Go to the Trade/Sale part of the website and take a look around there. We do what is called Weeds. How about weeding out your BG CD? Read up on what a Weed is. I would love a copy!! ;)

Ycantibu: Thanks for the welcome; it's good to be among staunch TR fans.

Judy: I don't know about Weeds, but I'll check it out. I think you would enjoy hearing Trevor sing early versions of Rhthym of Love and Final Eyes pretty much by himself, along with the interesting touches done to the other BG tracks.
