Hello Yesfans!

New to the site and it's so great to see so many Yes fans in one place.

At the urging of another member, I'd like to let you know about the OtterSong Records website and our artists:

http://www.ottersong.com

Initially a vehicle for publishing my own progressive rock and prog-inspired piano and ambience, OtterSong Records is now expanding and has recently signed several new artists.

Please check out the site and let me know what you think of our music.

Have fun,

John Luttrell

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I have some friends coming over later to do the "The Dark Side of the Rainbow". You know, DSOTM and Wizard of Oz thingy. Have never done, so should be fun.

hiya john! i've seen your name elsewhere,
but i can't remember where.

we should get along fine,
i'm a progressive, newage, world
(sometimes in the same tune!)artist,
as well as having owned the largest sci-fi
and comics shop on the west coast 1980-88.
i've also apprenticed w/ elric artist michael t. gilbert,
studied w/ dc senior editor joe(sgt.rock)kubert.

if you're interested, i have some tunes posted at
www.ic-musicmedia.com (and a host of others,
if you do a search, you'll have your choice),
as well as some high quality 192kbs. files at
www.weedstash.com

nice to meet a musical yesfan!

Hey Kirk,

Thanks for the message. Checked out zenpool music. Very nice. I think everyone on this board should have a listen. Great prog/ambient feel.

All I can say is that The North Shore of Heaven is...

Best holiday wishes to you!

John

hey john-

i remember! i've seen you on the IUMA
newage listing.
i keep a page there w/ 3 songs,
but haven't returned in awhile.
i pop in every 6 months and am
astounded by how many plays i've received.

the IUMA forum's a rottweiler pitt
so i don't use it much.
glad you liked "north shore.."
(i think that's what you meant haha)

happy holidays to you too!

Kirk,

You're probably right. I do have a page on IUMA.

Yup, really enjoyed "north shore". I was just trying to be clever in saying that "The North Shore of Heaven" fulfills it's own title.

I try to stay away from most of these message boards. Sorry if you're a big fan of message boards, but threads always have a way of sinking to the lowest common denominator.

Anyhow, I enjoy your music. Give ottersong.com a listen sometime. I think there are some bits that are good. One of our guys (Purl) is up in WA (aren't you in Seattle?).

Have fun,
John

some of our topics go astray and some of them are cause for dissent, but for the most part, we try and keep this place happy-reflecting on yes and how they help us or make us feel..
and there isnt much of a low 'common denominator' here, at any rate!:D
we are mostly all good people!
anyway, thanx for the link-will listen when things calm down-prob after the holiday rush!
but give this board a shot, johnL.. you might be pleasantly surprised!
and welcome to Yesfans..

hey upbgirl,

You are totally right! This board has some very nice posters (like you :). Mine was just a general comment about message boards, like a.m.y., where the discussions get so off topic and fiery that I just don't bother.

But, the more I lurk here on Yesfans.com, the more I like it.

Happy Holidays to you and yours!

JohnL
