I threatened I might do this in another thread, and now here goes!!
As a result of the recent stirrings in the YesFans community concerning anti-Rabin-ism, I have been thinking alot about my own anti-YesWest phase and how nice it feels now to have gotten past it. In celebration of this, I have made a CD-length play list on my MP3 player consisting of my favorite YesWest songs.
Here is my list:
1. Cinema/Leave It
2. Hold On
3. Changes
4. Shoot High, Aim Low
5. I'm Running
6. Miracle of Life
7. Where Will You Be
8. Endless Dream (all 3 parts)
Of my list here, I especially like the transition from "I'm Running" to "Miracle of Life" - play these songs in succession and you'll see what I mean! It's like Miracle of Life starts where I'm Running left off!!
Note that I'm a true prog fan, and I still don't care for Yes's poppier music, regardless of line-up. Naturally my playlist reflects this - these are, IMO, the most proggy YesWest songs.
So, fellow troopers, what would your "Best of YesWest" CD include?
