hey all! our friend sped blavio is on his way
to conquering another site.
this time,he's made the broadjam "top 10"
in his chosen genre
(not an easy task- there's probably 10,000 artists
from all 50 states and 0ver 70 countries!).

way to go richard!

Who'da thunk it?

Thanks for the congrats post kirk! And thanks, Dee and Kathy!
BTW, ahem, it made top 10 in ALL genres (The "Earth" Top 10). :heydude:

Hey, it's a fluke, what can I say. But I'll enjoy it while it lasts!

Credit due: the song that accomplished this ("Passing Through") has some other folks in it too, it started out as an unfinished "You and Me" project that I finished years later. Sort of a "retro-progressive" thing. It's a nod to what "ambient" used to mean, before it became a subcategory of thumping club music.

wow, richard- i didn't catch that!
it usually only lasts for a blink,
"gridspace" was there for a short time.
double congrats!!!

hey! this makes 2 bands/artists i've turned on to
broadjam that made the "earth chart"!
the other is "iris downfall" zenpool's sometime bassist
will stiemsma's band.

can i pick 'em or what? haha

Thanks upbgirl.

You got the moment part right!
I've already disappeared off the charts. Amazing.

That's ok, I'll be back!

Here's all the categories I invaded for that one glorious day (from the email they sent me):

Passing Through has entered the Earth Top 10 at Broadjam!
Passing Through has entered the North America Top 10 at Broadjam!
Passing Through has entered the Electronic - Ambient Top 10 at Broadjam!
(I was #1 in Ambient, if the order they list the songs means anything)
Passing Through has entered the Electronic Top 10 at Broadjam!
Passing Through has entered the California Top 10 at Broadjam!
Passing Through has entered the United States Top 10 at Broadjam!
Passing Through has entered the West Top 10 at Broadjam!
Passing Through has entered the Fan Picks - Male Top 10 at Broadjam!

Ha, they haven't heard the last of me yet (or of You and Me!)

(hi ubg!)
R-
i told you!
that earth chart has some serious movement!
luckily, i discovered myself there,
by the time the notification arrived,
it was gone!
i can imagine that the cal top 10 has as
even more movement than washington's,
northwest.
i didn't make critic's choice, i got into
"reviewer's top pick".
that was a good one,
i was contacted by movie producer
tony freeman about using gridspace.

the page order is the placement,
so if you were at the top spot,
you were #1.
GREAT START!
