Kinda odd, I actually have or at least have listened to each of these. And I did pick up The Ultimate Yes when I was in Europe a couple of months ago.

Yesterdays 6.0 ("Dear Father" and "America" are top notch. They could have thrown in the early b-side version of "Everydays" here. When I finally heard that all I could think was I wish I could have heard this so much earlier. As for the rest of the comp, too much from TAAW, not enough from YES.)

Classic Yes 10.0 (All the essentials are here for a Yes fan just getting started, the live tracks are phenomenal. A good 90 miunte tape mix is to take this album and add "Close to the Edge".)

Yesyears 9.00 (Excellent assemblage. Good mix between classics and rarities, but it should have had the original or Yessongs version of "And You And I." Other than that, this was carried off very well. Great sound quality too.)

Yesstory 9.00 (Good distallation of the boxed set, but I had no reason to pick this up.)

Highlights/ Greatest Hits 6.00 (I actually find the cover art kind of interesting, but this is giving the curious a pretty skewed introduction to the group. Any first timers would be better off with Classic Yes or Yesstory in my opinion.)

There was that one around the time of the millenium with a blue cover which was interesing because it included "Into the Lens."

In a Word Yes 6.00 (In a word redundant. I already had most of this. Too few rarities for the amount of discs. At least Rhino's making up for it now. Plus alot of the rarities have terrible fadeouts and or edits. I wonder if Rhino will give us any of the longer cuts form the Paris sessions in full next year. They should nixed "Never Done Before" and just put "The Golden Age" in full. I prefered the artwork and pakaging for Yesyears as well.)
