Hi everyone! I've been desperately looking for the words to all Trevor's songs (except from the "Can't Look Away" CD)!!!!!!!!!!! Has anyone ever tried to catch them by ear? It would do to me, since English is not my mother language and there are always some lines missing! I'll welcome any kind of help that I can get!

P.S. Besides the songs from his solo albums, I'm looking for the words to that terrific song he wrote for "Jack Frost", called "Have a little faith" - thanks!

Nice screen name. I Didn't Think It Would Last is one of my favorite Trevor Rabin songs.

Sorry but I can't be of much help either. I haven't been able to find the lyrics online. Trevor's CD's of Face To Face, Wolf and Beginnings don't have the lyrics included. I have the albums on vinyl and I think Beginnings is the only solo album that has lyrics on the inner sleeve.

Other than listening to the songs and writing the lyrics down, I have no other answer.

I bought my TR CD's through Amazon, almost one at a time, so I can understand how expensive they may be! But don't lose your faith: things have got to get better!

I'm sorry, I owe you a reply! I have been away for so long, for many reasons (nothing serious), but I came back at last!
I'd like to thank you for your post despite the frustration of knowing that you don't have the lyrics either. Well, as I said, the search will have to go on. Anyway, if I ever succeed, I promise to share them all with you!

These links are all great, but they link to (mostly) lyrics from Can't Look Away. Lyrics are included not only in the CD, but on the sleeve in the vinyl, as well as the cassette. Got 'em all. If anyone's got any of the above, they'll have those lyrics. I'm looking for lyrics from 90124 as well as the bonus tunes from 90125 (Particularly 'It's Over') Maybe Trevor's administrator of his website should talk to The Maestro about including a page with lyrics. We'd all be eternally grateful, I'm sure...

What's up with the different tunes???

This disc was issued by Chrysalis, dated 1990, with the name 'PASTMASTERS II' and the booklet inside has all Japanese writing in the front half, then English in the back with the lyrics. The cover art is different from the other one, too, see below. Marketing ploy? Hmmm...

I guess there's more than a few variations, but two main versions of the first album: the one originally released in RSA in 1977 which is Beginnings, and the one distributed by Chrysalis in 1978 remixed and renamed Trevor Rabin with a slightly different track listing and different cover. Voiceprint further complicated things by re-releasing Trevor Rabin with the Beginnings cover.

As I said, I thought it was rather misleading of Voiceprint to reissue the latter with the former cover and title, unless Trevor has completely disowned Beginnings in the interim - which I don't think he should - but that's only my opinion of course.
