Are we all Aries?

I noticed on the calendar, that almost every poster's birthday is in April. Is there some astrological significance to this? Do we like Yes because we're Aries?

By the way, sorry I didn't put my age. I'm now 37.;)

Strange coincidence, me thinks, although I am certainly an Aries. my birthday is 8th April, which I believe is also Steve Howe's birthday. (1947)
I was a Yes fan for more than 10 years before I found this out in a book called "YES- The Authorised Biography" by Dan Hedges.

Fascinating! April 8 is also the birthday of the Buddha. This is surely a day of Enlightenment. There must be an explanation for this Aries thing. It must be the time of year we were all conceived that links us somehow, just as migrating salmon know the way back to their birthplace. Mysteries of the universe!

Not only am I Aries (April 2), I am also Hoosier!

I grew up in Plainfield, about 20 mi. west of Naptown. I first saw Yes at the National Guard Armory, with Jethro Tull on the Aqualung tour (Aug. '71). I saw recently on YesNet that Ian Anderson was not pleased with the fervor for their warmup group, and I can attest to that! We clamored for multiple encores, but when IA came out solo and started My God on guitar, he captured us completely.

Hi Mike,

That must have been great to grow up in Indiana and go see Yes in the summertime. I have a confession to make. I've never seen Yes in concert. :eek: [Painful silence.] So I feel unprepared for this forum. But I did see Asia in Chicago.

What I enjoyed most about growing up in Indiana was being out in the middle of things, in the heart of America.

My friend Tom turned me on to Yes. He always had better knowledge of music due to his older brother Mike who had hitchhiked to California. His whole family had bright red hair. We would get into awful fistfights and then not speak to each other for six months, during which time we communicated through mutual friends. When relations improved our interest in Yes' latest release would break the ice, and Tom's mother always invited me back in.

Hey man, I too am a virgo. My wife is Aries, but she only has a partial liking to Yes; meaning if I didn't play them, then she certainly wouldn't! My eldest brother has a big interest in astrology, but it's not something I really pay much attention to...whatever will be, will be!

Same here. I'm a Pisces, and I think Squire's bday is March 4th right? Mine too :)
