The Closer Edge

I heard that Yes might have been fighting when they were making this album and stuff like Trevor Rabin recording over Chris's bass parts and redoing them himself. Does the band regret making this album. Is it not one they like. It's definetly there most underated album. I heard that it was mostly led by Trevor and the other members didn't contribute much. Anyone know more about this album then I do?

Well, at the time Anderson couldn't say enough positive things about Talk. Years later, Squire bashed Rabin in an interview, apparently. OTOH, he also said Rabin is a good friend and continues to be so. Rabin was the producer, guitarist & keyboardist, so I guess that is a lot of control. It seems mostly to be a collaboration between Rabin & Anderson, as far as I can tell, although Rabin apparently logged some serious hours working on it.
