More snippets from this month's Classic Rock.
Whilst talking about the upcoming release of the new DVD, it says a 60 minute version of this will be shown on TV later this year. This is the first time I've seen anything relating to this appearing on British TV (well in a British magazine).
Also I found it refreshing reading quotes advertising the Ultimate Yes CD.
"To this day, Yes remains totally unique in music history, with so many incredible songs and performances, gorgeously melodic and psychedelic". Matthew Sweet, The Thorns.
" Insane - beautiful - over the top. Timeless music. What more could you ask for?" Taylor Hawkins, Foo Fighters.
"So few groups celebrate musical freedom the way Yes did. The depth of their music is still as shocking to me today as it was to me as a litlle kid." John Frusciante, Red Hot Chilli Pepppers.
WOW!
