More snippets from this month's Classic Rock.
Whilst talking about the upcoming release of the new DVD, it says a 60 minute version of this will be shown on TV later this year. This is the first time I've seen anything relating to this appearing on British TV (well in a British magazine).

Also I found it refreshing reading quotes advertising the Ultimate Yes CD.

"To this day, Yes remains totally unique in music history, with so many incredible songs and performances, gorgeously melodic and psychedelic". Matthew Sweet, The Thorns.

" Insane - beautiful - over the top. Timeless music. What more could you ask for?" Taylor Hawkins, Foo Fighters.

"So few groups celebrate musical freedom the way Yes did. The depth of their music is still as shocking to me today as it was to me as a litlle kid." John Frusciante, Red Hot Chilli Pepppers.

WOW!

Thanks Stevie. Nice to see that the Red Hot Chili Peppers (I like that band as well) love Yes.

hope the little one is getting into the swing of things, bred yes!!
congratulations again!! [and howe appropriate that you actually did 'breed' another yesfan!! your name fits so well, now, doesnt it?]

and stevie!! wow!!
that is too cool that other artists are speaking out for our band/music.
i think if more 'prominent' musicians spoke more often of decent [excellent] bands like these guys did, they just might 'open some eyes' for the 'mainstream' people!!.

i am going to show my kid what they said about yes. he listens to all those bands!! [except yes]

that might be a good idea for a book, ya know?
what do other musicans think about yes?

might be interesting to know..

thanx stevie-always good to hear compliments on our guys!!
