I've been thinking about this for over a week now! I was going to put it up before the crash, but now I get the chance!

Chris Squre is certainly the ultimate bassist as eveidenced by these 2 choices...which one do you like better?

The Fish (*Yessongs Version)

vs.

WhiteFish (*9012Live Version)

I know, WhiteFish is derived from The Fish, but it really is a different solo. I used these two versions, as I figured they were the 2 most widely available live versions.

Went with The Fish from Yessongs. I love the dynamics in this version. Alternating subtleties and loudness abounds in this song. Plus, Chris using the Wah pedal put it over the top for me. Great version of this song.

I also went with the Yessongs solo. It fairly crackles with energy and it's the one I include in mixes intended to recruit new Yesfans.

The YESSONGS Fish will always be the definitive Fish for me - great as the others are!
