I wish the Wizard would come to the Midwest. I have never seen him solo--and with an acoustic piano, that's when he is his best!

Although with the timing of Rick's tour, my husband won't be working, so I'd be able to "drag" him to the concert. Nah, not really, he'd go willingly anyway. But geez would I love to do that, go to see something, anything with my Yes friends. It's difficult for me because other than Bruce, most of the people I know are not into the same kind of music that I am, so I end up sitting here...:crybby: not going to much of anything! Three concerts would have loved to have seen this summer...Peter Gabriel, Steely Dan, Tori Amos...missed them all. No one to go with me! :bash:

I was reading on his website that if this tour goes well, he will do more of it in the future. I hope so, I would love to catch one of these shows!

For anyone who has not read about the tour, it is not exclsively Rick playing music. The show is as much about his stand-up routine, which is very, very funny!

Alec wants to do the Tower, but I don't think I can with work, so I do think Harrisburg will be the only one we are going to.

My most recent Wakey concert was the 'Out There' tour in Nottingham, 3 weeks before going back to see him with 4 other musicians!

This was a pure music fest, no comedy, okay a bit of comedy, this is Rick after all e.g. 'The next song is from 6 wives....I've nearly had that many myself now!'

One thing I hope he does is have the camera fixed to his keyboard that allows you to see his hands on a screen behind him - it was awesome!

Check out my review of the Nottingham Gig on Rick's website. Fame, I'm gonna live forever!!'
