Does anybody know where I could get a YES logo necklace or lapel pin. I need one in the classic YES Roger Dean logo. The only ones I have seen at E-bay are the ugly Talk Logo. I saw a great looking blue logo necklace worn by a fellow fan at a concert at the House of Blues. Must have once been sold at a concert stand. I know you can buy collectables through the YES store but last time I checked when I went to checkout with my order it was not on a SSL secure webpage and I do not give out my credit card information on a site that is not 128 bit security encrypted.

One of our moderators had earrings made special for her by a jeweler... There's another member of the site who took a YES logo design to a jeweler for YES diamond earrings! Wow!
They looked pretty cool too...

I know you would see the classic logo done-up as pins/etc, back in the 1970's, but I haven't seen any recently... If you are really ardent about it, I guess you could find a jeweler who could do a custome job for you (Let me know if it's cost effective: I might want one!).

Hi there,

I bought a classic Yes logo pin on the OYE Tour in 1998. Dunno if you mean this one, but they were available...

All the best!

If I recall right. The last time I tried to have a professional do anything like recreating the YES logo for a pin, bumpersticker, faux licence plate etc. refused saying they would be breaking a copywrite law on the Roger Dean design and looked at me like I was some criminal. They often refuse to do it and sell you such an item because they are afraid of fines and jail time.

Ok Jhm,

Here is what I can do for you:

I'll make a digital photograph from the pin I have, and send it to you. If you like that one and it is the one you are after, you and I are gonna try to get you one ok?

I think there are ways when it is kind of ok to use such material. After all, the original Yes logo is copied and spread by any yesfan nowadays all around the internet.
Part of the YesFocus logo i.e. contains parts of the Yes 'chop' logo.
One thing you have to take care of is that you use such material for the benefit of Yes only.

About 10 or 15 years ago, there was a fanclub in Holland partly led by a guy called Arno Willems. He died from a terrible disease during this time, and on his stone there is the 90125 logo...

Let's make the best,

Hi there JHM...

I know.... the quality of these pictures are not that great, but it is just to give you an idea.

Hope I helped you out so far!

The quality of the pictures is fine. I don't like all the extra silver padding around the logo. It needs to be clean to the edge. Pins like that just make the logo look lumpy. That is similar to the Talk logo pin that I didn't like. The pendant I saw was blue and had a very thin outline in gold.

Thanks for the picture however.

Don't mention it... small effort. I don't understand your disapointment actually... Pins like these are very easy to paint it the way you like to have it i believe...

After an extensive search on Google I found an outdated post to Notes From the Edge concerning the YES blue pendant on a gold chain. I sent an e-mail to the person who posted and he has several YES pendants. I am getting mine for $15. It will be coming all the way from Hawaii.

but we want one, too!! apparently, that person had no trouble finding this kind of thing or getting it made personally for him, right?
do you think you could perhaps mail the person and see if he [she] would mind posting a link to the place where we can order one?
i would get one..[i hope this isnt wrong or bad or anything..]
i got a magnet outside one of the venues a few years back-the talk logo, i think. the guy wanted $5 for it, and it was before i realised he was making $ from them, so i got one right away without thinking it was wrong. [i know better now]
as long as people arent making any $ i dont think there would be trouble, right?

keep us posted, Jhm73, ok? and keep on coming back here to yesfans.. getting exciting with australian fans just JUMPING FOR JOY these days..

I bought one ust like that a long time ago in a drugstore. I wore it everyday until the chain got too small for my neck, or maybe my neck got too big for the chain.;) Anyways, I haven't seen it for awhile. I have no idea what happened to t.

I will send everyone the info just as soon as I get my pendant. Just to verify that this guy is for real. He was registered through Paypal and I sent him an instant payment. Very quick and easy. I believe the pendant is an official licenced item. I got that picture of the item from him in an attachement reply to my request to him for any info on the pendant. I read somewhere that someone had gotten one at the Union tour and the guy I'm buying mine from bought a series from a local music store. I'll let everyone know if it was successful.

It is an official item. I remember when I got mine it was on a display for rock jewelry. They had things like this for several different bands. I think Rush and Pink Floyd were among them.
