Hi everybody. Can we talk about feelings?

I first listened to Yes while growing up in a small town in America. The music was recorded in Montreaux, Switzerland along Lake Geneva. Later when I visited Switzerland and Montreux I experienced a unique feeling there: it reminded me of the feelings I had listening to "Fragile" and "Going for the One" albums, when I was younger.

Has anyone else noticed a feeling in Yes music that reminds them of Lake Geneva? For me this has always been a special place in the world. And Yes captured something of the atmosphere.

This assumes of course that there is an ethereal feeling in a place that could come across in music. I don't know if everyone would agree. ;)

Tales reminds me of Minnesota where I first heard it. The rolling hills, lakes, trees (everywhere!). The deep blus sky with a moonrise over the lake, the mournful call of the loon. When I visit I can hear it.

Relayer reminds me of summer (when I remember first hearing it). The heat, lightning, and passion.
