Just thought I'd say hi to all the Yesfans out there and to announce the release of my debut CD. It's called Control Freak and it's some of the best instrumental guitar recorded in years!

Thanks for reading,
Matt

Good for you Matt Hebert! What is the sound like--if you can put it into words?

Do you know we have at least one other musician in our midsts in Earl Grey. He creates music and has his own recordings too.

One more mention, if you like instrumental music, I'd recommend Steve's latest, "Natural Timbre". It's fabulous! It's so good that I think that non-Yes fans (what's that about?) and Yesfans alike, would be able to appreciate its splendor.

Good luck in your musical venture!

In response to Yesirree:

It's definitely prog influenced. I recorded it here in Knoxville TN (I'm from New Jersey) during Spring & Summer this year. Some of it is pretty loud & obnoxious and some of it sounds rather nice and the rest of it explores the weird stuff in between.
I play several types of guitar and a few types of keyboards on it and I have a couple of talented guys helping me out on it. The most popular song so far seems to be a track called "Love Theme From a Imaginary Porno".
I've been selling it out of my trunk for $12 a pop & haven't had any trouble getting rid of it I'm proud to say!
Unfortunately I'm not computer savvy enough to post samples or create a webpage or anything like that but I'd definitely sell it to any curious Yesfans out there.
The best guarantee I can give is that no one's tried to return their purchase as of yet!
BTW I bought Natural Timbre the day it came out in June & it's great!

Later for now,
Matt

P.S. If there any other YESFANS in Tennessee let me know!

To 1Yesfan,

I saw Masterworks in Nashville last year. Best YESSHOW I ever saw. Nashville was a cool town too. I had always wanted to visit Music City. I'm flying home for Thanksgiving from there too.

I was at that awful Atlanta show this year. It wasn't Yes' fault. The sound and the decible lever however sucked. I wasn't too fond of the wine & cheese season ticket holders either. But I figure a bad Yesshow is better than just about everyone elses' best right?

Oh well later for now,

Matt (who wishes he knew how to put his music online!)

p.s. are you ever in Knoxville?
