I also noticed that Jon is not the only great taskmaster celebrating a birthday today.....

Bobby "The General" Knight turns the big 61 today.

A polar (or should that be BIpolar) opposite of Jon, but nevertheless a dynamic and insightful leader as well!!

although you may not even read this message. I hope alot of fellow Yes fans do. Please....please....whatever you do.....PLEASE do not ever retire from recording music. You have something very special about yourself. You bring so many fans comfort in your writing and music. I, for one can claim that you have had more of an impact on my life than most other personal friends, and relatives. I met a new friend via this website last week, the name is "yessiree" we met at a local mall here in St. Louis, and spent about an hour or two chatting about Yes things. It was just wonderful to finally meet a REAL yes fan.

So again...happy birthday....it is your "BIRTHRIGHT!!!"

Jon also sounded great ON his birthday (the day of the Vienna show). We tried to sing happy birthday to him, but he barely let us finish two lines ! Too modest :-))

Jon, if you read this: I hope you enjoyed your birthday as much as we enjoyed this show, your singing, your chatting away to us in between songs, everything. It was the greatest show I've ever seen and heard (I didn't think I'd live to hear Gates of Delirium live!). In short: THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Happy Bday...you are the man!...when I first heard you I was 15 years old...It was at a friends house and his father was listening to Jon & Vanglis...I liked the voice and I asked him who sang and he said << Jon Anderson >>...And it stayed like that for years until my uncle came to my place and saw that I had some Jon anderson music...he then started to tell me about YES. That he first started to know them when he was my age I am now 17. He had the chance to see some concerts in Montreal. I then started to listen to Yes...some of the best music ever, And it was on August 26 that I had the chance to assist to my first Yes concert...I thank you very much Jon and Yes it was the best gift that some one could give me...Coming to Quebec City was an experiance for me of a life time. I will remember this very day till I die. Yes you are the prime time group and I wish you another 33 years of success...Thank you again.

Hope you come again soon. A living soul, living with YES.
