Hi there,
These days I am in my diet, because feel bit put on than before. Therefore I quit having lunch, only breakfast and dinner. So I prefer something not heavy for my dinner. Such as noodles or two slices of bread. How about you?

I love a massive salad made with romaine lettuce and arugula, with a zillion different kinds of veggies included and topped with vinaigrette and chick peas.
Runner-up: pasta e lenticchie (pasta and lentils)...an old family favorite.

Yeah, I'm with you, doll. It's not good to skip meals, for many reasons....and certainly not when one wants to lose weight, paradoxical as that may sound.

Evening T! How's the left coast doing on this Friday night? The heart of America is warm & quiet tonight, but we had flooding storms this morning.
Something about eating to keep the metabolism up to loose weight...but I can't figure out how to do that either.
( Galorious?! I must have been singing to myself when I typed it that way instead of glorious. :lmao: )

Hi, doll! Chilly day here, chilly night here---I absolutely LOVE it! :bncy:

That's exactly what it is. The best way to describe it is if you eat less, your body goes into starvation mode---then your hypothalamus basically tells the body to lower its metabolic rate to conserve energy. Eating better-quality food is the key: high fiber, lots of greens/veggies, fruit, and complex carb (whole) grains.

I love "galorious"---it's a real portmanteau word. :D

A quesadilla/buritto!. With lots of guacamole, spicy salsa, and beans. Sometimes I get creative and add different things inside, like different types of cheeses or orange chicken. The possibilities are infinite between that tortilla.

Teriyaki marinated steak tips cooked on the grill, rice pilaf and a huge tossed salad topped with oil and balsamic. As a matter of fact, that's what we're having this evening! Mmmmmmmm.

I would always love to have a light diet for dinner. Boiled vegetables, fruits or bakes beans to quench my hunger at night.
