Roger Dean will be a featured guest at DragonCon in Atlanta, Aug. 29th-Sept 1st, 2003. He was also there about 5 yrs ago and had designed the yearly convention poster (think the flying dragon on the cover of Magnetic Storm).

I expect he'll do at least one talk, and signings throughout the weekend, although I doubt this will be a gallery-type show, as this con isn't a market to sell huge, original artwork at the prices Dee was listing. More than likely there will be reprints and posters for sale and to be signed.

What timing! I have recently redecorated my apt. and left room for a Dean print in my livingroom, to complement my signed Yes album covers! :) Went on the RD website but they were pretty much sold out of all the posters...

If you're a fan of film, pop culture, tv, gaming, computer technology, model-building, comic books, animation, SCA, costume making, fantasy books and/or film; into the goth, wicca/pagan, punk, hippie, etc. scene, or just an all-around closet geek, then get theeself to DragonCon during Labor day weekend. This will be only my 4th time going, but it's quickly become my annual vacation :)

Wouldn't mind having an original print.
