I was watching the QPR DVD. With the pedal steel, I am surmising that you tuned the furthest neck (with pedals ) to E9th. I watched you play and was able to do the first steel break (great fun, by the way).

When you play Soundchaser you largely use the nearest neck. It seems to be tuned to E9th also. Steel players typically tune to E9th and C6th (nearest and furthest, respectivly).

Have I figured out that you tuned both necks to E9th? Let's get that pedal steel up and running for the next tour!

Thanks,

Paul

Paul, I have no idea how this would work as I am not a musician!! But...let me know if you are ever in need of a palette blend. I've got loads of recipes for that.

Hope it sounds divine.

Funny you should mention that. I was thinking of naming my band Palette. Maybe using a simple painter's palette as a logo or something. Is a palette blend an area where colors are mixed?
