I bought this album in very mint condition at a used record store in Clearwater. I always seem to be finding the hard to find lps of the Yes solo era whenever I'm at this store. I got a little taste of the album when I hear an excerpt of Silly Woman on the Yesyears video. I thought it was silly indeed. Not bad, but silly. A drummer friend of mine and I used to make fun of it when we were in middle school. And the other time was hearing the Spring Song of Innosence (w/ Jon and Steve) on the Yes Family Solo compilation.

I finally bought it and put it on the turn table. And I must say it's a good album. It's a totally different album from any Yes album or Yes solo album. But it shows White's ability to play in various musical genres. Which was somethng he was already doing before Yes w/ Lennon, Joe Cocker, George Harrison, etc. So, this album is important to Yes history because it shows what White brings to the band as a drummer and a writer.

Tell me what you think of this solo effort!

I agree totally with your assessment of the material and of Alan White's versatility. It really is a varied and multi-textured album.
