But I visit YESFANS whenever I have the chance. I just happen to be off-work, and finished with the hum-drum commitments between midnight and (YIPES! Sleep is the opiate of the masses!) fill in the blank-o-clock!

Time doesn't mean much when your up here. ... who said we're down under .. its all a point of perspective. Yes have not forgotten us.... they are still "planing to come" up here and we are soooo.. excited.
I usually visit when the puter gets fired up [steam power] and the "reply to your posts" come in. It lightens my day and helps to be YESinformed.
(I'm sure this is not going to help Tim. I bet he had a very good administrative reason for this thread. sorry Tim)

After getting home from work i normally check for emails etc, then i check out Yesfans.com.
Although as i work away from home aswell i sometimes go few days without visiting.

Now that I've got a computer at home I have started the bad habit to check Yesfans before going to work, while having breakfast. Then I check the site when I arrive at work and then several times during the day. In the night, if I'm not busy or away from home I also check before going to bed. Bad habits, I tell ya !

I usually eat lunch at my desk while logged in to YESFANS.COM

When I get home at night, I login to YESFANS.COM.

So strange to read my post from three years ago, I'm still able to relate to it.

I work 12 hour days. This week, I worked 5 of them.
Tomorrow is my day off, the 'Home Office' wants me to come in and take annual 'ventilator' tests, as I work with ventilator dependant nursing cases...

No rest for the wicked. I must've done something bad! I dunno what, but it must've been a doozy!

I continue to post between 11:00 pm and whatever-a.m.

i log on at work in the am and usaully don't log off until i go home. i will pop back every so often and pull up the latest posts. if something........or someone..........catches my eye i'll post away. it becomes troublesome when i log on and get involved immediately and before i know it i've been typing away for an hour and have not even logged into my work mainframe. yikes!

Various times of the day for me! I cant get enough of Yesfans so there is no time when I dont visit it ;) I'm never logged out of the site come to think of it..I do that with all my forums i'm on since no one else uses the PC but me.

Although after being away for a week I need to have a major posting spree soon!

I have run into the bad habit of visiting the site every morning while having my breakfast and during the day at work. If possible, when I'm home at night I like to log in after dinner.

Generally it's any time I'm at a computer. I sit in front of one all day at work, so I often stop in while I'm working. Then I use the home computer regularly too, so I log in there as well. I tend to spend a little less time on yesfans from home though, and I suspect that the sad truth is this: I must be avoiding working.

It could be worse, I suppose. My work isn't suffering for it. I actually refrained from installing AOL instant messenger when my computer was upgraded; now I only use it at home. I felt that since I'd joined yesfans, I was goofing off too much and something had to go. I'm just glad I determined that for myself & it didn't come from my boss!

Wow - this is really an old thread that's resurfaced! I thought Tim had set up a new poll to try and analyze our recent slowdowns on the site!

I voted "various times". I usually touch base in the morning at work, again during the lunch period, later in the day when I'm bored, and then at night when I get home. I've noticed recently that things are really slow during lunch time, and at night - last night they were at a crawl - took me a couple of hours to make a couple of posts that I had in mind, and answer a PM!

These days i'm usually only on in the evening because i've been busy working in the day on a site i'm co-admin for. Still, sooner or later i'll be able to come on alot more because I really enjoy posting here.

I'm a various times person also. Typically, I'll pop in when I get in from work, while looking at email. Then again, for a longer time later in the evening, after 9:30-10PM, or so.
