Relayerjim has kindly offered to make us a banner for the top of the page.

What would you like to see in it?

Something contemporary or traditional?

Francie and Josie or Falkirk Wheel?

Wee Scottie dogs or Armadillos?

Hills and heather or concrete and glass?

Any ideas?

Something like this with "the MacYesfans" replacing the title? There are loads of images out there of the Broons and Oor Wullie to get the images for the photo frames.

What you should do is have pictures of all you wee MacFans drawn in the style of The Broons. That would be nice!

Maybe a montage of some of our more iconic buildings - Edinburgh Castle/Stirling Castle/Castle Stalker, Clyde Auditorium, Waverley Steamship or a nice bottle of Oban Malt Whisky - but definitely nothing that perpetuates the myth that we are all ginger haired savages who wear poor quality kilts with timberland boots!

Hi Hugh - I'm not suggesting it is used here, as SYN and Yesfans Scotland Chapter are separate entitiies, though possibly with the same objectives - just participating in the thread.

Regards, Brian

Let's just not have any pics of Scottish men with hairy legs and knobby knees no matter how much Timmo protests. ;-)

I'd just like to see him without that bit of arse rag around himself. That must have been taken after he made a joke about the English. LOL

Ah, Brian, you've made my day! The Broons and Oor Wullie. I used to get the annuals every year - I didn't know they were still producing them. Are they repeats? I thought the artist died a few years ago.

Maybe it's just me, but I just best some clan MacDonald tartans would look fantastic as a backdrop. ;-)
