Howdy all. On Saturday March 29th I went to see Alan White play with over 300 other drummers at the Tacoma Narrows Bridge in Washington State. The event was to set the Guiness Book of World Records for the most drummers playing at the same time with the proceeds going toward the battle against polio. They were hoping to expect over 100 drummers but to see and hear 300 drummers playing together was a once in a life time experience. Alan was very friendly, talking to people and hanging out. After the world record was set he lead the other drummers in sort of an improvised drum solo. It sounded like his live drum spot in Ritual and was very interesting to hear with the other drummers joining in. I had a great time and have almost now recovered all my hearing. I attatched some photos of the event for those intereted.

i am trying to remember why we moved out of olympia.. it was beautiful-i think all the old california hippes moved there-such a peaceful, clean place. [nothng like 'carcinoma'..er..i mean tacoma]
oh yes.. uncle sam said we had to move or we'd still be there!!
gig harbor is beautiful, but that bridge is scary at rush hour!!
