this is an old demo that was recorded about 4 years ago. it was recorded on a 8 track fostex reel to reel. I arranged this song to this point, it was a 3 minute acoustic song my x wife performed in her acoustic show. I thought the song was good enough for the band to do so we recorded a demo to work from. The bass is barely audible, but thats me... there are 3 acoustic tracks, I think i did one of them, she did the rest, also the vocal track too.

there are 2 other pieces on the site by me too, one is another demo we recorded that day & the other is a keyboard intro i did last week. its about all i have right now, more to come later...

Tried to play this here at work, but the sound keeps cutting in and out. I'll have better luck at home, I think. Perhaps I can try there later.

Well, still hearing this in pieces - can't figure how to get around the buffering that the media player does. But, I did enjoy what I heard! Any suggestions as to how to get this to play in one piece?

I'm not sure, Tardis...but, somehow, I would guess you have to set that player as your default.

MESS!!
That was really nice!!
Good job, my friend...thanks for sharing with us! :D

I very much liked the sound of the drum machine you used...

thanx guys!

those are only demos...

i don't know that much about streaming media, i don't use it, i just download...

on "streets" & "everything" it was an alesis, roland or boss- don't remember, we had all three...

on the keyboard intro i used "session drummer" in cakewalk sonar, midi through a yamaha S03. after i bought cakewalk a few years ago, i sold all my drum machines, they just don't compare...

there may be alot more comming. my x-wife Terri & I have been talking the last few weeks, we may be getting back together. Oh well, she is a big YES FAN, doesn't she deserve us giving it another go???

Well, not sure how to reset the default. I'm still learning how to use this crazy machine I bought! But what I did hear was quite enjoyable, although in pieces!

Mess - good luck to you and your ex-wife. Hope things work out like you want them to.
