What Yes concert or tour that has not had a full DVD/Video release would you like to see? Don't worry if it was never filmed - just tell us what you would like to see.

I would love to see a full Talk concert from anywhere

I'd like to see a complete concert from either 1978 or 1979 on a DVD.
Rob, do you mean a show other than Live in Philly? that show was from '79 ... but you are calling for a complete concert, which of course the Live in Philly DVD is not
it is an in-the-round show and the band is incredibly hot --- great performance, great arrangements --- but somewhat dull camera work

Wembley Arena 1978,
Quebec 1979
and Toronto 1997
are shows I wish there were official DVDs of.

Going for the One and Talk shows would be my choices. There are proshot videos of shows from these tours. It would be nice to see them released.

I would like to see one of the Moraz tours just to see what he was like live and how the band played with him.

Live at QPR has Moraz on it. Its not the greatest quality video/audio wise, but its a great concert.

Thats probably the only Yes DVD/video I haven't seen - a good reason to go searching for it.

I would love to see my favorite concert - TFTO tour - preferably the Atlanta show!
Also, the GFTO tour would be great!

I would like to see QPR to be officially released in America and not priced at $50.00. Something from the Drama tour would be nice. But it's unlikely that there is any known or unrleased footage of this laineup aside from the promo vids for Temous Fugit and Into the Lens.

1978 or 1979 for me also!
And yes, the Philly show is a nice teaser: but I would like great audio, multiple camera angles, and at least two complete shows on DVD! I don't ask for much... ;)

1978 Wembley
1975 QPR - should be cleaned up, the BBC broadcast a 1 hour version on their 70s TV rock show The Old Grey Whistle Test - they never throw anything away, it must be there somewhere, spruce it up and put it out

Definitely something from the Talk tour - one of my fave albums, and we never got the tour here in the UK, so pleeeeeaaasseee!
I have always had a hankering to see something from the Relayer tour with Moraz. Apart from wanting to see Moraz perform, I loved the stage set for that tour (it is briefly glimpsed on the Yesyears DVD).

My first Yes concert was the show at the Shoreline Amphitheater that was recorded and released as AN EVENING OF YES MUSIC PLUS. And while that was a big thrill for me - "my" concert being released on CD and video - I was disappointed that Tony Levin was out sick. (Very sick.) I'd been a Tony Levin fan already for many years (and am even more so, today.) I would like to have seen the AB(L)WH tour with him in it. I would be particularly interested in the Bruford/Levin duet that occurred at each show. (Not the most danceable tune, sure.)
Likewise, on the UNION tour video (also, by the way, from Shoreline - though I wasn't at that night's gig), I wish that the Bruford/White duet had been included. (For those who don't already know, the foundation of this duet began during the XYZ demo phase and eventuallly evolved into "Mind Drive" on KEYS TO ASCENSION II.) I've got an audio cassette copy somewhere, but I would love to be able to see it on video, too.

Speaking of duets on the UNION tour, I would have thought "Dueling Banjos" would have been a natural choice to bring Steve and Trevor together on stage. They both play "country" style well.

I agree, I always thought if in the Union arrangement of Yours Is No Discrace, instead of playing their solos one after the other, Steve and Trevor traded licks back and forth would have been cool, but they didn't really have the right kind of positive chemistry together to really make that work.

I'd love to see something from their Talk tour. But I am not aware of any full concerts on video from The Yes Album. I'd love to see a full concert in the early Steve Howe era, or when Peter Banks was the lead guitar.

A collection of studio outtakes and promos would be great (seen on "Yesyears". I have "Going for the one" and "Tormato" in very poor quality.

Easy, Tales of Topo tour, I've seen stills of Roger Deans stage- they are amazing. I've always wanted to see a Yes show with a killer stage show. I've heard things about this tour- it must've been fantastic.

It was! My favorite tour hands down!

I believe it was late in the RELAYER tour (probably during the "Solos" tour) that the Dean brothers' best stage was created: the "Crab Nebula" stage. That's the one with the "heads" on the "vertebrae" that would rise and lower and shoot out beams of light (from airplane head lamps inside the “heads”.)
If memory serves, Alan White said that he saw someone with a camera once on that tour, but has never seen any footage. It may have been during rehearsals or sound check. – again, I can’t remember the exact info. But I would love to see that.
Has anyone seen the (bootleg) DVD of Roger Dean’s career (see thread on this topic)? Does it include any moving footage of the stages the Deans created???

Something from Time and a Word with Banks would be superb.
From the books I've read the energy and play offs between Peter and Chris sound like they'd be killer.
Anyone remember seeing this line up live?

Definetly a "Union" show on dvd. I know there was a video, allthough to my knowledge it wasn't released over here in Europe. As was mentioned in another thread, I would like it to be a full show, including all the solo's/duets that were played. And if I really could choose, I ofcourse would like it to be the concert I attended on that tour, the one in the Ahoy hall in Rotterdam, Holland.......

This is so tough! I would love a great DVD from every tour if it were possible.
I think a well-produced, great sounding DVD of one of the tours when Yes was at its height from1974-1979 would be the best. QPR 1975 makes me want to break down and weep. The video is more than good enough, but the sound is as if it was deliberately sabotaged. It sounds like it was mixed by a 5 year-old randomly moving the knobs on the mixing board, no joke! When the guitar Jon is playfully strumming can be drowning out Steve's licks and Chris and Allan are overpowered by Patrick's left hand keyboard (not even his lead keyboard), there's a problem. All of Alan's percussion (bells, chimes, gongs, tympani, etc.) are almost totally inaudible during "I Get Up, I Get Down." There's no way that the concert sounded that way to those who were physically there. I get misty-eyed when I watch the QPR video, see Steve jumping around shredding his guitar, but can't hear anything.
I would love a great full-concert DVD (that is as well-produced as the most recent Symphonic DVD - awesome and undoubtedly the first Yes video ever that has done them true justice. Why has it taken so many tries to get it right?) from any of the following tours:
1974 TFTO, 1975 Relayer, "Solo" tour 1976, GFTO tour 1977, Tormato Tour 1978, ABWH 1989 with Tony Levin, Union Tour 1991, Talk Tour 1994, or the most recent tour after Rick's return
By the way, does anyone know when the remake of the 9012live is coming out on DVD? Yesworld said a while back that it was coming out, but all of a sudden it seems like it has fallen through and no one's talking about it anymore.
I would like to see QPR to be officially released in America and not priced at $50.00. Something from the Drama tour would be nice. But it's unlikely that there is any known or unrleased footage of this laineup aside from the promo vids for Temous Fugit and Into the Lens.
There is a concert or at least concert footage from the Drama tour of America. Unfortunately it seems to have disappeared but then again it's funny how these things suddenly manage to turn up when there is money on the table. They were definitely filmed and recorded on the Drama tour though. I have it from the horses mouth.

Certainly for me it would be the Cobo Hall Detroit, Michigan on Feb. 28th 1974 Tales show. Actually this show was professionally filmed. There are bootleg videos of the footage, but unfortunately I haven't met anyone who will trade for it. So, I have never seen this footage. I hope YES will make a point of finding the master tapes of this show and release it (the whole concert) on DVD and CD. Also, the MSG 1974 Tales show would be a good one to release.
