Its an age old subject but here goes.......

This was on a post found on Dime

But actually there may indeed have been some private footage recorded.
We tried to get this but Mark W went rather cagey about it all and after
many years and a few emails fell completely silent. Unless you're still
out there Mark and want to make some fans happy ...

YES FOOTAGE
===========
From: "WMX1156@aol.com"

As a young aspiring filmmaker in college, I often took my Super-8mm film
camera to Yes concerts in the Philadelphia area from 1976 thru 1980. Later
in life, I became a professional videotape editor, and had the film
transferred to video and edited with sound. I wonder if any Yes fans would
be interested in seeing my work? Here is what I have:

1) JFK Stadium, Philadelphia, 1976 (TALES)
2) The Spectrum, Philadelphia, 1977 (RELAYER)
3) The Spectrum, Philadelphia, 1978 (In-The-Round)
4) Roosevelt Stadium, New Jersey, 1976 (Tales)
5) The Spectrum, Philadelphia, 1980 (Trevor Horn)(DRAMA)

If enough people are interested in seeing these, I will make them
available. They are well-done, clear, and highly viewable. I also have an
interpretive "music video" of Close To The Edge, shot and edited by myself in
1976. Anyone interested? Let me know.

Not if the dates quoted are accurate. Tales was '73 - early '74.

Was Relayer '77? ;)

All/most of that material he speaks of, oh boy.
Like throwing fresh meat to the lions after a famine.

No, the guy messed up his tours. Relayer was late '74 - '76. The solos tour was late '76. GFTO was '77.
In The Round (Tormato) was '78-'79

'77 was definitely Going for the One. '76 was the Solos tour (of which most of the solos wound up being cut).

Thanks to Bruce & rememberer I'm at the very least well versed in when all the tours started and began. Thank you very much...

Wish Mark never got spooked. A certain HedG would keel over if '76 where made available. Not to mention this tempus guy what he might do for Trevor, no not that one, the other one.
