Dee,
A friend of mine in Philly just wrote me and said this show doesn't start until Wednesday...? The site still says Monday, but now I'm wondering. That doesn't work for me so I hope it starts when the website says it does.

Hey DEE! (Say 'hi' to alec, will ya?)....
There was supposed to be a Roger Dean Exibit at the OYE tour, back in 97'... And it never materialized, as far as I could find (walked all over the place after that devine show,...No Dean. Oh Well!). Heard the Philly Show was awesome, and I'm glad, obviously!!! Yes rules, and shall continue to do so! Now, to hear the new album! Yea! See Ya, Earl.

hi earl

i will say hello to alec

the dean exhibit was certainly something to see
oh to see his work in such large size, just amazing!!!!!!

the gallery was really down to earth as well, we were taking pictures like crazy!!!!
the girl mentioned that she liked the Yes crowd, she said they have a traveling Garcia exhibit going on, and that the people who come for that 1 are as friendly as us.

She also pulled out 3 of Jon Andersons works, 2 original watercolors and 1 print, it was really neat to see.

philly is a great town, can't believe i live so close and have never made it there
the crowd sure does love Yes!!!

$125.00 for a 'lithograph'? I hope it was 'signed'! Roger is AMAZING, I get lost in those paintings, but at those heavy prices, I can understand why YES is going elsewhere for 'Magnification'.
I'll either have to win the lottery, or else 'settle' for the posters/E-mail greeting-cards on the Dean site!
Bye the way, what do you think of the house Roger designed, on display on his site? I WANT TO LIVE THERE!!!
See You, Earl.

Man, I was just in Philly last week! I sure wish I knew about it. I'm in total agreement about the house; I met him now 2 years ago at a sci-fi convention in Atlanta, had my Starbucks poster signed, but also had him draw me a freesketch of one of his doors and sign it. I'm framing that very soon. At that same convention his sketches were fetching $600-1000 a pop, and this was the art show! He's such a sweet man.

News Flash: Renown artist Roger Dean states that with all the $ made from lithographs and $1000.oo sketches, he is to create a 'living website apartment building'.
Shaped like a large cluster of Psilocybin mushrooms, 'The House Of YES' will be exclusively for the members of the YESFANS website to live, gossip, debate and thrive in. All in a bountiful 'gun free' atmosphere.
The apartment will be located on a small Greek Island surrounded by turqoise magnesium- rich waters, and will be rent-free to members of YESFANS.
It has been leaked to us, by other sources, that the much talked about "YESCRUISE" will conclude at this mysterious island with the presentation of the afforementioned 'House of YES'.
Dean was quoted as saying, "It's Sort of a surprise, you know? For the fans. They deserve it."
The rock band "YES" will live there as well, giving live concerts nightly around the bonfire, discussing matters of Rick Wakeman and Trevor Rabin, from sunset on, into the rosey fingered hours of dawn.

(So, I can dream, can't I?) "E" :smksml::yesbird:
