I posted this under the new European thread, but I thought it deserved its own thread. On January 21st, Yes Greatest Hits and Yesyears will supposedly be released in Canada. These will play on US dvd players. At the moment I assume these are officially licensed dvd's, but I can't confirm it.
I found these listed at www.rareandhardtofind.com.
They aren't cheap, they are $30.00 apiece. However, their is a coupon good for 10% off. Under code type winter,and then a password of ice. This is good for any order placed until the end of January.
I wrote to the place and asked if they are remixed in 5.1 surround. They said they are supposed to be, but wouldn't know until after they received them. I plan on waiting and asking them again. My guess is they won't be true 5.1 surrond.
This place has a lot of interesting dvd's I've never seen elsewhere. Its worth checking out, some are for US players, some for European only, and some are for both.
