Just pulled this set from the shelf and had a listen to some of it again recently. A couple of things struck me - the dire sound quality of some of the recordings (well documented elsewhere I think) and the obvious difficulties the band had in re-creating Sound Chaser - especially the opening intro drumming. Looking at the notes in the booklet though I was drawn to those describing the Union shows at Wembley in June 1991. The author describes the band leaving the stage and returnung for an encore of CTTE! Is he deluded or what? I was there all three nights and there was no CTTE on any night. Who the hell quality controls the notes on these albums these days? Can we believe any of it, or do they just get random individuals to make sh!t up?

Anyway, enjoying the summer heatwave here in good old England.

I have a feeling that the individuals they get to make sh!t up are not random. ;)

Make sure you're getting enough electrolytes and have a steamy day! :D

I just listened to disk two the other day. Great fun. I think the notes are all from fans so perhaps someone's memory was a bit impaired.

Yeah maybe, but over time, 'impaired memory' can often be accepted as the real thing!
