if you watched the complete Journey to the Centre of Earth movie, you would know that he had one for a short time...Yes climbed down to the Centre of the Earth just to get the golden Organ for Rick...sadly it goes under in a lava flood...almost with Rick...but even Wakey is so upset, the ending has a nice quote...

Well, I am sure it won't come as any surprise to many but I looooved Jon's stage outfits during the ABWH tour, although this pic' does him no favours...it looks outsize.

Such an outfit sure works well in the ABWH video. Swing those tassles Jon boy!!

He had a couple of outfits of that nature...WHITE, bejewelled, braided, tassled epaulettes, bolero jackets...WONDERFUL stuff...even a long white cloak at Wembley arena...

I still have three of my bolero suits (beige, black and deep green) and a white bolero jacket...that style WILL return...trust me!

I've always thought that fashion is like a wheel, every 20-25 years we find the same things.
Today I had tight black jeans, high on ankle, black lace socks and black sneakers. I remember I had similar stuff in 1986 and I had a shiver, thinking about huge hairstyles, heavy makeup and padded shoulders....brrrr, the 80's have been 99% awful for fashion! (the good 1%: colors were actually "colors" and dresses were "feminine")

That would be AWAKEN. Steve used the Rickenbacker 12 string on the studio version and the GFTO Tour. He now uses a Steinberger 12 string for Awaken. Steve often is quoted saying that the Ric 12 went out of tune easily, but I don't have that problem with my Rickenbacker 360-12. You can watch Steve play the Ric here:

The 2009 YES hotness competition (new line up)

Forget the Oscars and the Grammies.....here is the poll that REALLY counts. Who is the hottest member in YES right now. Please register your votes and reasons you have chosen them if you wish.

Chris is my winner by a mile. His presence on stage is amazing. He has the complete package, style, a great mover, musician, and oh....that package. His hair is looking fab too....nice length and colour.

2nd place is our Steve! What a surprise! But he's looking really good. O.k he's showing off playing 2 guitars at once, but it's sexy! He's displaying a wonderful mixture of mean/moody/happy and that's really endearing. He's really really wearing some snappy shirts as well - well done Steve.

Benoit is in 3rd spot....but only just! Why you may ask? Well you can't fault his energy, enthusiam and cheeky smile. But he needs a good stylist. White is fine if you are very tall, slim or Jon. He does not QUITE pull if off. He looks like a cross between a circus master and the chap who is here decorating my living room at the moment, who's wearing white overalls. The hair does not suit his face, makes him look very square faced. Slightly longer hair would be better.

4th is Oliver. I'm sure Oliver is a lovely chap, but he blends into the background. Dull, dull, dull. Dull clothes and he seems not to have an indentity. Let's see some snappy clothes, some more of your personality.

Sorry Alan, but I have to put you at the bottom. It's difficult being behind a drum kit and out of sight. However, last few pics have been a little disapppointing, hair and clothes and reported mediocre playing.

Steve - lol I know I'll be the only one! :D First, great great great player. Stage presence. Charisma, style, vibes, those oh so blue blue eyes...
Oliver Wakeman - I talked to him in person. This man is hot! Large chest, blue blue eyes...and a gentleman too. But on the stage he lacks personality. The vampire coat+long hair+"soirée" pants are hot in photoshoots, but on the stage they'll hide you. I've learnt it myself, never wear black on stage, unless it has sequins&you're the main star
Chris - "the" bass player. I love his necklaces too!!
Alan - it isn't polite to make comparisons wih other drummers. But well, I prefer someone else as a drummer, both "visually" and technically and also as "vibes".
Benoit - well, he's a newbie, he stil has to find his own style, haircut...vocal power...:evil_lol:
