problems with dvd

I just recently bought my second copy of HOB on dvd and for some reason neither of the teo copies play on ANYTHING. Not a computer not a dvd player or a video game system can read this dvd. Has anyone else encountered this problem before? If so any solutions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.

I don't recall the names of the threads, but if you do a search of the dvd forum, you will see several threads dealing with this subject.
