hi ya'll
I've got a project that is in motion, but still need to flesh out the players....
But i'll do the background first...
The project is proggressive ( go figure ! lol ) and there is a
drummer and possibly a guitarist other than myself involved.
Pretty much the drummer and i have been doing all arrangements because we are the only ones doing the arrangements thus the dilema...
I am looking for a bassist and /or keyboard player..
here's how the drummer and i are working this stuff....
He ( the drummer) lives in Bellingham ,Wa...
I live in Palm Bay, Fl. the potential Guitarist also lives here in fl.
I work up songs on the keys and mail them up to the drummer as Mid files. He works his part up and sends it back until we are both satisfied with the song. the drummer then tracks the drum part to Cakewalk and mails the real drum tracks with the midi trash tracks down to me. I then hit the studio and start layin real tracks and the midi tracks are put to rest.
we started working on this stuff last spring....I flew up to bellingham in august and spent a week with the drummer working out bugs in setups to ensure that we could do this as well as wacthing him laytracks at a studio he does a lot of work out of.
If anyone out there would like in on it please give me a holler.
Just as a teaser i put up a pic of me ( in Bellingham ) with my Prophet 600...( it's old , but i love it);)
