Yes going back to their long form Prog roots - in the mid 90's whoda thunk it?
I love all those studio tracks and love the Keystudio album that collects them all in one place.
Now isn't there another track from those sessions that hasn't been released yet?

it's always grated on me how badly those tracks were marketed! Some of the best Yesmusic in the 90s - practically buried! I agree with the sentiments here. I remember buying KTA at the time & thinking 'oh look, new tracks..' like this was a big surprise..
Just imagine if they'd been more positively promoted & received.. Yes might have taken a whole different turn. Story of their lives really.
I waved a copy of 'keystudio' under Ricks nose a while back - he didnt even know they'd been released on one disc.
Shocking. I knew there were various edits done to the songs for the KTA releases (like Rick's intro on one song - MindDrive, I think), which was partially restored on Keystudio, but only partially. But I didnt know there might be another track out there.
The Prof would know..Maybe he aint tellin!

The one big difference between Keys 1&2 and Keystudio is "Children Of Light"... the Keystudio version has a "new" keyboard intro... although whether it was just edited for the Keys 2 version I do not know. Maybe Billy will chime in on some of this.... :D

Ah yes, 'children of light' my apols - I read it somewhere, somewhen.. maybe it was something on Henry's site @ one time. Nice intro, shame it got cut to begin with!

I don't know about it being some of the best stuff of the 90's as Talk and The Ladder were fricki'n awsome. But Keys is a great Yes album and who dosen't love billy work with yes? So big thanks to him of course and it is a shame this stuff didn't get a better promotion... I've offten wonderd if that was because many of the songs were taken from the work done with the zepplin memeber and the XYZ sessions?
